He Can’t “Bear” to Share
 Working on his paw-to-eye coordination, giant panda cub Xiao Liwu (whose name means “little gift”) was quite the little ball player during his weekly exam. His preoccupation with the new plaything made it easier for vets and keepers to get his stats: he weighs 14.5 pounds and measures 29 inches from his nose to the tip of his tail. As the cub’s skills and confidence grow, so does anticipation of his readiness to go on exhibit. Stay tuned!
