Go a Little Wild at Reptilemania

September 27-30 you can check out cold-blooded creatures from around the globe during the San Diego Zoo's Discovery Days: Reptilemania, presented by Petco. Join in lunchtime feedings at the Reptile House, see eye to eye with a two-headed kingsnake, meet the rarest alligator species in the world, and chime in with our Instagram Photo Challenge. Get so close to a colorful array of reptiles that you can count the scales on their backs!

Park Welcomes Lucky 13th Elephant Calf

Still wobbly on her feet, the 205-pound pachyderm calf received a ton of support (literally), from her attentive mother, Swazi. And learning how to operate that trunk is no easy task either!
