Panda-monium!
 Excitement is in the air at the San Diego Zoo: on Sunday, July 29, at 2:10 p.m., our 6th giant panda cub was born! Panda mom extraordinaire Bai Yun has done it again, despite being one of the oldest known pandas to give birth. So far mom and cub are doing great, and panda fans here in San Diego and around the world are thrilled to be watching a new cub grow up, one more addition to the population of this endangered species. Watch the videos, hear from the panda team, and see Bai Yun and her little one on Panda Cam.
Which Chinese Animal Are You?
 During the Zoo’s Nighttime Zoo: China Celebration, we’ve created a fun little quiz to see which of four Chinese animals you are most like. Give it a try, then come by the Zoo for an evening’s worth of entertainment, animals, and good times with family and friends!
Get into the Swing of Things at the Safari Park
 Feel like monkeying around? Then come try your hand (and feet!) at Jungle Ropes Safari, a brand-new rope course adventure at the Safari Park. Three exciting courses of different challenge levels will have you and your family swinging and climbing through the trees in no time!
Summer Safari at the Safari Park
 Come experience a continent’s worth of excitement as the Safari Park comes alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Africa during Summer Safari at the Safari Park, through August 19. Chief Kahle welcomes guests to a daily celebration that includes music, acrobats, animal encounters, special delicacies, and interactive fun. Don’t miss the party!
Summer Snow Day!
 The August Wish List is dedicated to all the giant pandas at the San Diego Zoo and their animal friends! Help us get the “bear” essentials, like aromatic scents for new mom Bai Yun, bedding for spectacled bears Tommy and Houdini, a snow day for polar bears Chinook, Tatqiq, and Kalluk, and many other enrichment items for our sun bears, and sloth bears, and red pandas.
