Hello, "Handsome" Stranger!
 A male jaguar named Guapo, which means "handsome" or "good-looking," has moved into our cat complex at Elephant Odyssey at the Zoo. Five-year-old Guapo is the fourth big cat to call this area home. We hope he's particularly attractive to Nindiri, our lady jaguar, and that romance (and cubs!) will blossom.
A Dose of Tiger Cuteness
 The Zoo's Malayan tiger cubs opened their eyes this week! The two boys are off exhibit right now, being raised by mom Mek, but you can soak in their adorableness in our most recent video.
Flutter to the Safari Park
 Come out of your cocoon! The thousands of butterflies at the Safari Park's Butterfly Jungle presented by Baskin-Robbins have, and they're waiting for you! Taking wing through May 8, this year's event is themed "Metamorphosis," and you won't believe your eyes!

 The San Diego Zoo Safari Park's website has a whole new, exciting look. Give it a "click" and take a (web) surfin' safari of your own. Be sure to check out our newest online game too—see how many challenges you can overcome in Safari Park Adventure to become an honorary Safari Park ranger!
Mother's Day Buffets at the Zoo and Park
Treat Mom to a wonderful meal in her honor on Mother's Day, May 8! Both the Zoo and Park have delectable buffets planned that are sure to pamper her palate. Cost is $38.95 for adults and $17.95 for children ages 3 to 11. Albert's Restaurant at the Zoo's buffet starts at 11 a.m. in the Treetops Banquet Room.
