Tiger Cubs on the Prowl at the Park
 Well, they're not quite on the prowl yet, since they are only six weeks old, but our two female Sumatran cubs at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park are definitely bundles of cute! The two girls now have their eyes open and are exploring their off-exhibit area, starting to learn some climbing, stalking, and pouncing. They get plenty of attention from their keepers too—including belly rubs!
Home Remodel for the Cougar Set
 Mountain lions at the Zoo have a remodeled home to roam, thanks to a generous donor. Yakima and Koyama are having a great time exploring their new digs, whether it's by stretching out on the rock arch or using the lush plants as "toys!" Come check it out—it's a real cougar town.
 Do You Believe You Can Fly?
Spread your wings and take off—to Flying Trapeze Class at the Zoo! Now you can enjoy the sensation of flight as you take off from a high "perch" and swing through the trees as professional trapeze artists from Trapeze High, San Diego County's only flying trapeze school, teach you how to "fly." Classes offered Saturdays and Sundays through December 19, at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
Thanksgiving Feasts at the Zoo and Park
 Why not make your Thanksgiving a little wild this year—have us cook for you! At the Zoo, Albert's Restaurant is offering two ways to celebrate with family and friends: a Thanksgiving buffet in the Treetops Banquet Room, noon to 4 p.m. ($42.95 for adults, $15.95 for children ages 3 to 11), and a three-course Thanksgiving dinner at Albert's ($37.95 for adults, $13.95 for children ages 3 to 11).
